O2 Boosts iPhone Tariffs
O2 has announced that they will be boosting the mobile tariffs for the iPhone in the UK, commencing February 1st. The new tariffs are a significant bump over the tariffs that were introduced alongside the iPhone in November 2007.

The new tariffs are for both new and existing customers and all include unlimited data (Email, Web & Wifi at O2 Hotspots), Visual Voicemail, and lower roaming rates.
This announcement could be in response to recent reports that iPhone sales in the UK have been sluggish, with many customers apparently being put off by the relatively low minute and text bundles of the old packages.
Existing customers can expect to have their contracts upgraded to the equivalent new tariff by mid-March at the latest.
